Project: Studio L Place to Dwell - Guest Bathroom Design Plan

Another week, another room design plan to share!  I hope you've enjoyed following along with this design process.  This week, I'm sharing the design plan for the guest bathroom - which I'm excited about, because it will have a slightly different design flair from the rest of the house.

What better room to take a bit of a design risk?  So, my inspiration started with an amazing patterned tile for the floor.  I spent hours looking at different options, and landed with this black and off-white star pattern.  With the pattern being so bold, I like that the colors are more subdued and classic.  A black and white base makes it easy to incorporate another color on the vanity.  I came across the beautiful bathroom inspiration photo, and knew I had to find the perfect shade of mossy/sage green. The plumbing fixtures and coordinating accessories are modern and matte black, warmed up with a touch of brass on the traditional vanity light fixture, and an earthy touch with leather and brass drawer pulls. Finally, I'm using basic but beautiful white subway tile in the shower, and also above the vanity cabinet - laid in a vertical offset pattern for a cool statement.
