We are so excited to share with you today our latest project reveal! This home in West University Place in Houston was purchased early in 2023 by our fantastic clients. Upon closing on the home, our client brought in the Studio L Interior Design team to walkthrough the empty spaces and discuss their goals and vision for the spaces. The location and layout of the house was fantastic, but the spaces needed a refresh on furnishings and some finishes, to give it new life and personality.

My wonderful clients in West Houston wanted to reconfigure an entire wing of their home, in order to move in their elderly mother. It would be important for her to have her own space and sense of autonomy, so very careful planning was done for mobility and accessibility. But of course we did not want to sacrifice at all on style! I think this project is a wonderful example of improving someone’s life and joy through design.

We have paused for awhile to catch our breath after last years project, but I have now started to put together my dream design plans for the rooms that need new furnishings. Starting with the master bedroom - a space I am hoping will be serene, restful and a bit eclectic.
