Heights Dining Room

Are we on a blog roll now?! I have another room reveal to share with you! I had the pleasure of working on this project with some awesome clients in the Heights, Houston, TX. A couple of years prior, we had done a design overhaul on their family room, so now the dining room was ready for some TLC. The bones of this home are absolutely stunning - take a look at the space before!

Isn’t this an architecturally beautiful dining room to begin with? The traditional paneling and ceiling treatments were all going to stay, but we wanted to emphasize the charm with lots of earthy layers, pops of color, and an electic blend of finishes and textures. The design plan came together beautifully here - my personal favorite elements are the dramatic olive green velvet drapes, the funky abstracted yet subtle wallpaper, and the interesting mix of chairs. This dining room is an inviting and stylish spot - while being completely comfortable and functional!
