accessories. shoes, bags, DRAWER PULLS, earrings, bracelets, rings, CABINET KNOBS, clutches, headbands. i hope i made that easy for you. interior jewelry really does exist! baubles and beads for your own boudoir are within reach.
a couple of years ago, upon a visit to my designer friend abby jo bell/garrett’s newly accessorized bathroom (shoutout!), i was a believer. she had artfully purchased amazing, but all DIFFERENT, cabinet knobs from the beloved anthropologie to don her master bath. i immediately went home to scour the internet and plan my copycat attack. only $65 later, i had a collection of little goodies in my own watercloset. i chose 8 or so knobs from the sale bin at anthro, and transformed my run-of-the-mill cabinet doors into something special. it’s one of those touches that is totally worth it…..there aren’t many visitors to my house that don’t leave without mentioning “i love your bathroom knobs!” success. and i love them too.
you can really use this idea anywhere – on a single dresser, kitchen cabinets, bathrooms, desk drawers, etc. the more mismatched, the better!
also, anthro isn’t the only source. check out etsy, ebay, goodwill, and thrift stores for your pull of pleasure. here are some of my favorites from anthropologie….
